1. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in any Virtual Math Academy program or using our website at virtualmathacademy.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. About Our Services
Virtual Math Academy provides live, virtual math tutoring programs for students in Grades 2–9, aligned to the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum. Our programs include the
Summer Readiness Program
If a student withdraws before a session begins, a refund of tuition (minus the $25 registration fee) will be issued, provided written notice is received before the withdrawal deadline. Withdrawal deadlines to receive a refund for an upcoming session:

School Year Program
If a student withdraws before a term begins, a refund of tuition (minus the $25 registration fee) will be issued, provided written notice is received before the withdrawal deadline. Withdrawal deadlines to receive a refund for an upcoming term:

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to admin@virtualmathacademy.ca.
6. Program Delivery
All classes are delivered live via Microsoft Teams. A stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone are required. Virtual Math Academy is not responsible for technical difficulties on the student’s end, including but not limited to internet outages, device failures, or software issues. Missed sessions due to technical difficulties on the student’s end are not eligible for refunds or make-up classes.
If Virtual Math Academy cancels or is unable to deliver a scheduled session, a make-up session or account credit will be offered.
7. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to attend sessions prepared, respectful, and ready to learn. Virtual Math Academy reserves the right to remove any student from a session or from the program entirely, without refund, if their behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to other students or staff.
8. Privacy and Personal Information
Virtual Math Academy collects personal information including names, email addresses, and grade levels for the purpose of delivering our programs. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties. Virtual Math Academy handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

9. Communications Consent
By enrolling, parents and guardians consent to receive program-related communications from Virtual Math Academy at the email address provided at registration. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us at admin@virtualmathacademy.ca.
10. Accessibility and Learning Needs
Virtual Math Academy is committed to supporting all learners. Parents and guardians are encouraged to disclose any relevant learning needs, accommodations, or accessibility requirements at the time of enrollment so that we may best support their child.
11. Intellectual Property
All course materials, workbooks, strategy sheets, and other resources provided by Virtual Math Academy are the intellectual property of Virtual Math Academy. Students and parents may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any materials without written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
Virtual Math Academy provides educational support services and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes or grade improvements. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific program in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Changes to Terms
Virtual Math Academy reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
